Provides comprehensive public health services including the following specialty programs: A. CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL HEALTH CARE NEEDS (CSHCN) program assists with payment of medical services and supplies for children who met the following criteria: 1) child is less than 21 years old (with the exception of Cystic Fibrosis which is covered at any age), 2) lives Texas, 3) family's income is 200% or less of federal poverty guidelines, and 4) diagnosis includes a chronic physical or developmental medical condition. Additionally, services are provided to children with special health care needs including those receiving Medicaid, SSI, CSHCN and families referred from the community. We partner with the Program for Amplification for Children of Texas (PACT) which provides hearing aids for eligible children, birth through 20 years
