Description Short-term shelter (10 weeks) and long-term (1 year) transitional housing for homeless families with children. Goals are living-wages employment for parents and permanent housing in the community. Case management services include: counseling; referrals; training in parenting; budgeting; nutrition; special childrens programs. The Gateway to Jobs Program is a comprehensive pre-employment skill training program including job search and placement assistance. Culinary Training is provided at the Annette G. Strauss Family Gateway Center. Community Transition Services offer follow-up for one year after exit to all participants.
