Description Five libraries in Plano serve the community, with library cards free to residents of Plano, Allen, Frisco, Garland, McKinney, Richardson, The Colony, and Wylie. Residents of other cities pay $50/year. Almost 800,000 books, DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks are available, and include material in 12 languages. Downloadable eBooks, eMagazines, and eAudiobooks are also available. Offered online are language learning, practice tests and study guides for students of all ages, and many research resources. Hundreds of free educational and entertaining programs for families, children, teens and adults are offered each year.
