Description Brings together individuals and organizations to advocate for improvements in community mental health services. Offers community education and prevention programs to promote mental health: PUBLIC POLICY/ADVOCACY: Works to change policies, increase services, improve facilities and secure funding for mental health care by educating advocates, community leaders and policy makers. CRISIS INTERVENTION: Teaches law enforcement and other emergency first responders the skills to de-escalate intense situations. OPERATION HEALTHY REUNIONS: Provides free or discounted counseling sessions for active military personnel, veterans, reservists and their families. Anti-victimization program for children. ACHIEVEMENT THROUGH THE ARTS: Educate and motivate artists with mental illnesses. Education and awareness programs on aging and mental health.
