Description Plano Housing Authority operates two different types of programs: Public Housing and the Voucher program. Public Housing refers to the units that are owned by the Housing Authority directly. Plano Housing Authority owns 24 three and four bedroom single family homes throughout Plano. The voucher program allows participants to receive rental assistance through private landlords. Both programs select tenants from a waiting list. The only time applicants can apply is when the waiting lists are open. Check the housing authority website for openings and how to apply.
